US authority notifies Aeroflot of new security measures
MOSCOW, Jun 29 (PRIME) -- The U.S. Transportation Security Administration has notified Russian airline Aeroflot of introduction of new security measures, an official of the airline told PRIME on Thursday.
“An analysis of the contents of the notification is being presently made in order to carry out further corresponding measures,” the official said.
The U.S. authority said that the measures will concern 180 airlines and about 2,000 flights from 280 airports in 105 countries. The measures include extended checks of passengers and their electronic devices for possible explosives.
